Escort Advertising
Published March 27, 2008 by Stella
Things have been quiet as of late, which is no surprise at all as in winter almost everyone I know cannot wait until it gets warmer and busier. Now that i have a lot of free time on my hands I have decided to research what advertising opportunities actually exist. To my disappointment the possibilities for advertising an escort business, be it an agency or an independent website, are very limited for London market.
To be completely honest it seems to me that there isn’t really such thing as value for money, especially for independents.
There used to be two very good, very well promoted sites Cherrygirls.co.uk and Eros-London.com, but I don’t quite understand what’s happened to them. Cherrygirls has redesigned the website - in my view, there were some usability issues before but on the whole it was OK and since the design stayed the same throughout some years so that the page with new entries and Escorts of the Week was easily accessible, an advertiser could expect a steady stream of traffic and phone calls.
Now when I look at the homepage… I simply don’t know where to look. Most links and ads there lead to external sites and as there are plenty of them I can’t see how anyone would ever make their way to the actual independent listing. And it’s all too complicated. Mark, if you ever read this, please, please make the website simple and I’ll be more than happy to get a listing there again.
Eros also seems to have issues because they used to have more traffic and advertisers, now they’ve got less of both which is a shame really because it used to bring a lot visitors from the USA who stayed in nice hotels and liked to have fun on their business trips here.
A new website with great potential has taken over - Londonescortguide.com promises 4000 thousands escorts in their listings, on closer inspection the listings sometimes repeat themselves, but still their database is probably the most extensive. They also carried out a very smart agressive marketing campaign getting the best links wherever it was possible and developing organic traffic in a relatively short time. They do also state they receive mind-blowing 5500+ visitors a day. It is not clear how many of those are uniques and not from advertisers, however the figure is still impressive.
It’s a shame that in a few days I had a front page listing there it provided very few actual referrals to my website, much less than the two above mentioned websites so I assumed it might not work for me for some reason. Would love to try again, though, perhaps in high season.
I guess haven’t mentioned the famous Adultwork (certainly not for everyone and the website looks even more complicated in my view than any other website I’ve come across in my life) so that I won’t even try. There’s also Acemassage.net and I know nothing about so may look for more information on it, and there are search engines which can send a lot of traffic but are quite unreliable since the last year. Obvious conclusion here is that this is golden age for those in the industries serving escort business when the competition is so high and a lot of people will want to promote/ advertise their services.
Indeed, web promotion is not totally limited to advertising in escort directories, there are other effective methods including various offline techniques
but if I were to start a new website these days it looks like I’d better be prepared to spend a lot of money and not expect to get return on investment anytime soon.

Nice to find an erudite educated outlook to this part of thee industry Stella. I agree about Cherry Girls amongst others
Something which baffles me about the English escorts–they don’t specify whether their pussies are shaved, partially shaved, trimmed, or au naturale. For some of us, that makes a big difference. If you’re partially shaved, that’s cool–is it a landing strip or a triangle, or …well, what is it? For some, that can determine whether to contact or not.
Hi Stella!
I am totaly agree with you!
Anyway, seems like now a lot of Escort directories, Magazines and newspapers. And to advertise every-where it will be Big amount! But sometimes it doesn’t really work.
Big websites, have got a lot of advertiser, you are paying good money for that, but i think you must be lucky as well. Who knows, from 100 girls or banners will somebody gonna choose your girl or banner?!
Good luck with business everyone!

Eros used to be a great place to advertise but in recent years it has got more and more complicated to use…It also has the anoying click here to visit the external website which i think puts most people off as it is a warning box rather than a inform box.
As for the londonescortguide their traffic figures are very over inflated and only 40% are unique visitors, we spent over £1000 with them in 1 month and got less traffic than a £10 advert on punternet….
The prices at Londonescortguide going up and up, inflation must be biting
